Personal Flow States

Spent several days over the last few weeks in extended flow sessions with coding. Coding can do it for me but I think everyone has their own proclivities for engagement that provide access to their personal flow state. I can attest that focusing on a task for 5 to 6 hours straight of enjoyable, no-rush craft, experimentation and discovery … is probably not healthy. But it’s very rewarding. Even producing things no one will know about and which serve no common good other than to satisfy a curiosity. Having time is wealth where obstacles don’t become frustrations to completion but challenges to learn, explore and navigate. Every day becomes both the practicing mind, an orientation toward everything as training and complete as is, and a journey toward the manifestation of an idea. I look forward to the momentum gained to manifest completions with increasing frequency as a byproduct. This is how I spend my days of late.
